Counselling Services Now Available!
We’re excited to announce our partnership with Elaine Paz to offer counselling services for our church family and regular attenders.
At Champion Life Centre, we believe in empowering lives in every area — spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Through this partnership, we’re providing a safe, confidential, and caring space where you can find support, healing, and hope.
Whether you’re walking through a difficult season, navigating relationships, or simply seeking personal growth, Elaine is here to help you take the next step toward wholeness and wellbeing.
Program Details
Faith-Based Support
Short-term counselling combining professional care with Christ’s love, helping individuals and families find healing, hope, and dignity.
Who Can Access?
• Church members or regular attendees seeking personal, relational, spiritual, or mental health support
• Individuals without insurance or financial means
• Those with insurance may access sessions outside church hours
Session Details
• 3–5 sessions per person (counsellor’s discretion)
• First sessions are free for those unable to pay
• Referrals to community or private services for ongoing needs
• No benefits: Appointments are available:
Wednesdays from 9am–3pm
& Fridays from 4-8pm.
• With benefits: You can book after hours or on other days outside of the Wednesday 9AM–3PM window.
Confidentiality
• Sessions are private and confidential
• Not shared with church leadership only if required by law (risk of harm, abuse)
About Elaine
Elaine C. Paz - MSW, RSW, RP Registered Psychotherapist
Feeling hopeless or stuck? With over 20 years of experience, I am a trauma healing specialist, Registered Psychotherapist, and Clinical Social Worker.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Theology, with extensive training in CBT, EFT, DBT, IFS, and BSFT. I offer compassionate support, holistic practices, and clear pathways to your goals.
I also provide consultations and talks on trauma-informed care and compassion fatigue, and I supervise clinicians, meeting CRPO and OCSWSSW standards.
My values include strong faith, compassion, family, friendships, and enjoying nature.
How to Get Started
Fill out the request form and submit.
Requests are reviewed by the counsellor.
Sessions are booked first-come, first-served, with priority for:
People without insurance/financial means
People facing non-crisis mental health challenges
The counsellor will contact you to schedule an appointment no later than one week after the request.
Bridging Faith & Mental Health
Research Study at Champion Life Centre - Brampton
Evaluating and Refining the Compass Model of Relationship-Centered Collaboration to Reduce Mental Health Stigma and Promote Professional Help-Seeking in Christian Churches.
Champion Life Centre is partnering with Elaine Paz, Registered Psychotherapist and Doctor of Ministry candidate at Tyndale University, to evaluate a faith-based mental health initiative and strengthen support within the church community.

[ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA APPLY]
Church leaders who participated in the previous Bridging Faith & Mental Health pilot initiative may be eligible to share their experiences and help evaluate and refine the initiative.

[ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA APPLY]
Life Group Leaders who have committed to participating in the educational initiative may also participate in the research by completing brief questionnaires before and after the training.

[AVAILABLE TO CHAMPION LIFE CENTRE ATTENDEES]
Individuals who choose to receive psychotherapy may also choose whether to allow the use of de-identified information, reported only in aggregate form, for research purposes. Participation in the research is voluntary and is not required to receive psychotherapy services.
Participation is entirely voluntary. Your decision to participate, decline participation, or withdraw at any time will have no effect on your relationship with Champion Life Centre, church leadership, or your ministry involvement.
